If you have a crock pot sitting around, it’s time to put it to work! This beef pot roast here puts the “Tender” in Tender Loving Care. Like most Martin Scorsese movies, it will take some time, but in the end, it’s worth it. It’s also impossible to mess up, so fear not beginner chefs. And for those reading who have tried my dish before, here’s the secret formula ;)
Ingredients
Beef chuck roast (Any size will do, as long as it fits in the crock pot)
Ranch dressing mix (Hidden Valley works well)
Au jus gravy Mix
Butter (Think Paula Dean here)
5-6 Pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
Place the chuck roast in the crock pot
Add ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix in
Then, cover the meat with slices of butter (go crazy)
Toss in 5-6 whole pepperoncini peppers
Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low heat for 8 hours
If you’re short on time, cook on high heat for 4 hours
Additional Info
Prep Time: 10 mins
